I was hopeful of getting the 1st place in the competition, but this removed any hope I had. Now I am hopeful for the 2nd place.

Also to answer your question in response to Bountyspecialtist:
Basically, once you've posted 4 works, someone may scout you if they deem your art worthy and of good enough quality. Then your art will start appearing in the art portal gallery :)) And more people will see and find your work more easily then. It's community based quality control to make sure not just everyone gets to flood the gallery.
